George looked in command offensively at all levels last season. His efficiency took a huge jump and his playmaking was huge as well. The game finally slowed down for him and he was controlling it like a true franchise point guard.
His big season is why he earned a huge contract extension a couple weeks ago. He now has to build on it this season, but he has so much room to grow
Peterson meanwhile had a case to be the number one overall pick in the draft. He was one of, if not the best, scorer in college basketball when he played. He dealt with cramping issues and sat out games, which led to people questioning whether or not he loved the game. However, by all accounts, Peterson is obsessed.
His dynamic three-level scoring ability is what jumps off the page. He has the potential to be the best shooting guard in the league in his prime. He can shoot from anywhere, his handle is super smooth and controlled, and he can slash to the rim as well. His game is the perfect complement to George.
George and Peterson are going to be tough for any defense to scheme against this season. They are going to wreak havoc and do not be surprised if Utah has one of the best offenses in the league because of this duo. The Jazz are ready to announce their arrival and when they do, expect their backcourt to be leading the way.
